BIVOUAC 3 DAYS
Day 1: Zagora – Erg Lehouddi
Departure from Zagora around 14 hours in a 4X4 vehicle by the old track of the caravaneers via the mountains of Jbel Bani, Kasbah of Nesrat before approaching M’Hamid, former crossroads of caravans and last village before the vastness Saharan. Stop at Ouled Driss and start camel trekking for about 1h30 to the bivouac in the heart of the dunes at Erg Lehouddi. Welcome tea, installation and free time to discover this exceptional natural site and watch the sunset. Dinner and overnight in bivouac
Day 2: Erg Lehouddi – Erg Chegagga
After breakfast your 4X4 will take you by the tracks on about fifty kilometers along the Jbel Bani by the arid lands still occupied by some nomadic families where one can stop for a tea. To the east, the wavelets that form the first dunes of the Sahara and which extend as far as the eye can see. Stop for lunch at the sacred oasis before continuing to Erg Chegagga, the sea of sand. Our bivouac is at the foot of the big dune. Calm guaranteed. An escapade on the big dune, occasion of a small sporting expedition to reach the summit whose view is breathtaking. Sunset – Dinner prepared by the nomads. Veille under the stars and night in bivouac.
Day 3: Erg Chegagga – M’hamid – Zagora
In the morning after breakfast, return to M’Hamid in 4X4 by the tracks then reverse path for Zagora. Stop Tamgroute for the visit of the underground city of potters and the famous Koranic library. End of our services around 12:00 in Zagora.
